Just for fun, I sketched out a wave picture while trying to get it in a very ukiyo-e style. I referanced several pictures while trying to get it just right, including Katsushika Hokusai's 6 views of Mt Fuji. The background turned out ok, so I decided to finish it up by doing a long over due fan pic of Wave from Sonic Riders.

Been working hard on commissions, trades, and Christmas stuff, so this is one that was purely for me.

Hope the rest of you enjoy it too. :D

Indeed, my friend, this is quite enjoyable. It's pretty creative as well, as most probably wouldn't have thought of doing something like that.

Well done; keep up the great work.

All that has ever been created was done so for a reason, even if that reason is just for it to be.
Wave looks pretty cool looking in the pose, and the ocean waves look amzingly detailed! Lovely work!

This is coolXD
classic Japanese style hehe
Nice concept... I love the way you did this drawing. In fact, using Katsushika Hokusai's 6 views of Mt Fuji, was pure genius. I've seen the painting in the Little Einsteins show, but never in this kind of perspective. Congratulations and keep up the good work.

Major art work mate.
Wood block print. It's one of the most famous and most recognized of the ukiyo-e style.
